As part of the 21-27 November "Oral and Dental Health Week", a Scientific Meeting was held at Istanbul Atlas University on Sunday, 20 November by the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists to celebrate the 114th Anniversary of Scientific Dentistry. Dentists and students of the Faculty of Dentistry were very interested in the meeting, which was attended by approximately 500 people.
The opening speech was made by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists Prof. Dr. Ender Kazazoğlu, the Rector of Istanbul Atlas University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Küçük and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. After his speeches, Bülent Katiboğlu was presented with a plaque by the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists for his support. The Scientific Meeting started with the Pera Art Academy concert. Then Assoc. Dr. Erol Cansız made a presentation on “Surgical Overview of TMJ Diseases”.
Assoc. Dr. Rifat Gözneli's "Temporomandibular Disorders and Stabilization Splint Treatment" and Dr. The Scientific Meeting ended with Melih Şengül's presentations on "Orthopedic Stability in Occlusal Rehabilitation Treatments".
The Scientific Meeting held as part of the Oral and Dental Health Week provided useful information to the participants.
